Skyworth & Kexing Sign 100MWh Strategic Target

Skyworth ESS and Kexing Technology sign a strategic cooperation agreement with an initial scale of 100MWh, jointly expanding the commercial & industrial energy storage market.
On October 16, Skyworth ESS, a subsidiary of Skyworth Digital, held a strategic cooperation exchange meeting with Kexing Technology at Skyworth Group's headquarters in Shenzhen, and officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with an initial scale of 100MWh. Mr. He Xuan, President of Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and noted that the partnership will fully leverage the complementary strengths of both sides in technology, capital, and market access to jointly expand the vast commercial & industrial energy storage market.
A strong alliance, seizing new opportunities in the storage track. Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy storage industry growth, this cooperation marks a key step in the strategic layout of two high-tech enterprises in the new energy sector. Kexing Technology is a national high-tech enterprise and a "little giant" enterprise (specialized and sophisticated). Its core products and components are widely used across seven major fields including aerospace, military, and new energy. Skyworth Group, as one of China's top 100 electronics enterprises, has built a full-chain capability in energy storage — from technology R&D and product manufacturing to market development and operations & maintenance services — backed by more than three decades of industry heritage and brand advantages, providing a solid foundation for this cooperation.
Strategic direction: from "competing on hardware price" to competing on "technology + service + ecosystem." "The energy storage industry is shifting from policy-driven to market-driven. Skyworth will adhere to the development philosophy of technology leadership and service excellence," emphasized Mr. He Xuan, President of Shenzhen Skyworth Digital. "The cooperation with Kexing Technology is an important milestone in the development of Skyworth ESS." He noted that the industry is at a critical stage of scale-up, with competition upgrading from "hardware price competition" to a comprehensive contest of "technology + service + ecosystem." He expressed that Skyworth will fully leverage its advantages in brand, channels, and services, complementing Kexing Technology's expertise in materials technology and investment operations, to jointly forge a new paradigm for energy storage cooperation.
Benchmark project: the successful 2.15MWh Suning Fengxian Plaza storage station. The cornerstone of this cooperation is the Shanghai Suning Fengxian Plaza energy storage project, which has been successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. Invested by Kexing Technology and developed and constructed by Skyworth ESS, the project has a capacity of 2.15MWh. Mr. Ren Dongbo, Head of Strategic Customers at Skyworth ESS, reported: "In August, the project generated RMB 67,000 in revenue, with full-year revenue expected to reach RMB 650,000-700,000, and a cumulative revenue cycle of up to 20 years." This outstanding performance has laid a solid foundation of confidence for further cooperation. From initial contact to grid connection took only two months, demonstrating Skyworth ESS's efficiency and professionalism in project execution — particularly the refined handling of noise control, environmental integration, and safety design, embodying its "customer-centric" service philosophy.
Technology enablement: the innovation strength of Skyworth ESS. Dr. Deng Bo, CTO of Skyworth ESS, introduced the company's technology strategy: "We are upgrading from competing on hardware price to comprehensive competition across technology, service, and ecosystem, continuously innovating in areas such as PV-storage integration, dynamic demand management, and AI-driven intelligent operations." Skyworth ESS has formed a complete product line spanning from home storage to commercial & industrial storage, and has accumulated rich experience in niche scenarios such as virtual power plants and emergency backup power. Dr. Deng specifically noted that dynamic demand management technology can boost customer revenue by up to 20%, and PV-storage co-optimization can increase the value of photovoltaic generation by 50%. The company has also made early preparations in next-generation technologies such as sodium-ion batteries.
Market and service: full-channel network and full-lifecycle O&M enablement. Ms. Chen Aixin, General Manager of Skyworth Commercial & Industrial Storage, stated: as the 100MWh commercial & industrial energy storage project between Skyworth ESS and Kexing Technology was successfully signed, the two parties clarified their core development principles, unwaveringly staying "customer-centric." To honor this commitment, the two parties will focus on the following: first, focusing on micro-innovation to enhance core value — continuously improving system efficiency and reducing the levelized cost of electricity through incremental technical innovation, while gaining deep insight into subtle changes in user scenario needs to deliver diversified application-layer solutions and rapid-response customized improvements. Second, strengthening brand and service to build a channel moat — the marketing team is not merely a sales team but a builder of brand and service, providing users with full-lifecycle services that transcend the product itself through a powerful channel network, differentiating the brand from competitors. Third, upholding standardization and long-termism — full-process standardization aims to deliver stable, reliable, and rapidly deployable solutions, while always thinking from the perspective of capital providers and adhering to long-termism to ensure sustainable returns and long-term stable operation. Through this path, the two parties will unite their strengths, with the ultimate goal of building an irreplaceable and distinctive Skyworth ESS brand, moving forward hand-in-hand with customers and partners toward a win-win future.
Ms. Yu Yangyang, Deputy General Manager of the Domestic Business Center of Skyworth Ansda Company, introduced the service assurance system for energy storage projects: "We have a nationwide service network of 19 regional branches and 107 offices, achieving full city-level coverage with 7×24-hour rapid response." As Skyworth Group's service platform, Ansda has established a standardized, digitalized O&M system capable of providing full-lifecycle technical support and service assurance for energy storage projects.
Strategic signing: building a new ecosystem of storage cooperation. After the meeting, under the witness of both teams, the two parties officially signed the strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the first phase covers 100MWh, jointly focusing on the investment and construction of commercial & industrial energy storage projects, and establishing a normalized cooperation mechanism. Mr. Wu of Kexing Technology stated: "From project cooperation to strategic signing, we have witnessed the professional capability and pragmatic attitude of the Skyworth team. Kexing's technical accumulation in magnetic materials is synergistic with Skyworth ESS's industrial layout, and we look forward to fruitful results from this cooperation." The completion of this strategic cooperation marks a solid step forward for Skyworth ESS in the commercial & industrial energy storage sector. In the future, through resource sharing and complementary advantages, the two parties will jointly drive innovation and development in the energy storage industry, contributing to the energy transition and injecting new momentum into the development of China's new energy industry.
